The Saddest Noise
in progress

The Saddest Noise is a multimedia platform for art examining the potency of guns to change people into unethical agents of violence. Anchored by a performance installation, and inspired by the inventive storytelling approach behind Igor Stravinsky’s Faustian fable, The Soldier’s Tale, the project will feature a variety of materials and artistic forms including live sound/video processing, obscure imagery, sculptural props, moving images filmed on locations throughout the United States, and community activations that probe the values and frameworks of the human/gun composite and its phenomenal power to create a change in someone’s state of mind even as it infiltrates and mediates the social fabric.
